I love this photo of the eclipse taken by my good friend, Dave Rand, in Manhattan Beach, CA.
I don’t need to read Kanji to know that this photo is all kinds of awesome. Through the magic of social media and live streaming, I was able to follow along and view the annular eclipse today in the Northern Hemisphere from the comfort of my home in Sydney, Australia. Not quite the same as being there, but I enjoyed the experience more than I thought I would.
If the stars align (translation: more money starts flowing in than out), I plan to be at the total solar eclipse in Cairns, Australia, this November.
